She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Roy Shultz and Roxie Pate Shultz; and her siblings, Doug Couick and Ola Mae "Pug" Stirewalt. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Lewis Whitaker; her son Ronnie Whitaker (Michelle); her grandchildren, Greyson Whitaker (Kendal) and Collin Whitaker; her great grandchild Annemarie Whitaker; her sisters, Betty Mull, Faye Underwood and Saundra King; and her brother-in-law Roger Whitaker (Debbie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
