He is survived by: his children, Chris Porter, Berry Eugene Porter II (Sequoyah) of Winnabow, NC and Genna Alicia Porter of Wilmington, NC; his siblings, Charles Dean Porter (Charlene) of Wilmington, NC and Bonnie Gore of Tabor City, NC; and his grandchildren, Berry Eugene Porter III and Fernie Grover Porter.
