She was predeceased by: her parents, John Canning and Sabina Mary Canning (Lynch); her siblings, Sabina, Mary June, Joan and John; and her stepson Keith.
She is survived by: her husband Vincent Liberati; her sons, Michael Venezia (Karen) and Joseph Venezia (Natalie); and her stepdaughters, Jennifer Cruz (Raul) and Lynn Santoiemma (James). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A Mass will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (6650 Carolina Beach Rd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
