She was predeceased by: her parents, George R. Hickman and Gladys Eloise Hickman; and her sister Rita Hickman. She is survived by: her husband Harry Lee Batson; her children, Byron Batson (Jennifer) and Tammi Batson Fries (Jared); her grandchildren, Brooke Batson, Layla Fries and Abigail Fries; and her siblings, Tim Hickman, Lana Williams, Marsha Lineberger and Edsel Hickman.
