He is survived by: his sister Sonya Moorefield (Joel) of Winston-Salem, NC; his daughter Brittany Mitchell (Jody) of Ridgeway, VA; his stepchildren, Elizabeth Villarreal (Juan) of Winston-Salem, NC, Jennifer Stevens (Chris) of Winston-Salem, NC and Josh Stevens of Winston-Salem, NC; his grandson Aiden Spears of Ridgeway, VA; his stepgrandchildren, Jason of Winston-Salem, NC., Kayleigh of Winston-Salem, NC., Samuel of Winston-Salem, NC. and Aspen of Winston-Salem, NC.; his great-nieces, Crystal Webb, Savannah Highfill (Chris), Elizabeth Wilson (Mark) and Brandy Johnson (TJ); and his mother-in-law Rebecca Kite.
