Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Amalean Witherspoon (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 91, on June 7, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Blan O. Wagoner and Janie Crouse Wagoner; her husband James Odell Witherspoon; and her sisters, Shiralee Miles and Josephine Daniels.
She is survived by: her daughter Andrea Witherspoon Brogdon (Andy); her grandchildren, Jessica Brogdon Showalter (Adam) and Joshua Charles Fox (Kaylyn); her great grandchildren, Caitlyn Elizabeth Showalter, Jackson Andrew Showalter and David James Fox; and her sister Unamae Adams. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Salem Funeral Home (2951 Reynolda Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Forsyth Memorial Park (3771 Yadkinville Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106).
