She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alex Hayes and Martha Lanier Hayes. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Smith (Steve), Jeff Smith (Lynn), Beth DeHart and Dawn Myers (Vince); her grandchildren, Jeremy Smith (Courtney), Travis Smith (Heather), Bryson Smith (Laura), Tyler Wood, Marissa DeHart (Josh), Alex Wood, Logan DeHart (Julia) and Mary Beth DeHart; her great grandchildren, Raimi, Cooper, Curtis Evan, Arley, Sydney, Daxton, Tucker, Adrianna, Daisy and Missy; her pet Zoe; and also, Donna Ottenbacher and Stefanie Gusinsky.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kinderton Chapel - Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory (108 E Kinderton Way, Advance, NC 27006). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Centenary United Methodist Church Clemmons Graveyard Fund or Yadkin Valley Baptist Church, Advance.
