She was predeceased by: her parents, William Robah and Lillie Mae Glenn Mitchell; and her husband Daniel Edward Smith. She is survived by: her family, Vecue, Larston, Thelma, Bernita, Eldridge, Margaret Lucille and Longworth; her children, Denise McDonald (Edwin) and Christopher Smith (Valeria); and her grandchildren, Portia Wall, Quentin Smith and Winston Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and special friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101).
