With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annie Squire (Winston Salem, North Carolina), born in Hartsville, South Carolina, who passed away on April 17, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Squire and Katie Squire; her son John Squire; her grandson Nathan Hoover; and her great grandchild Tharina Douthit.
She is survived by: her children, Willie Squire (Hattie), Ernest Squire (Annette), Reginald Squire, Joy Hoover (Martin) and Cynthia Squire; her sisters, Georgia Mae Harrison (Charles), Olean Gayle Byrd and Frances Thomas; and her brother-in-law Sylvester Hook (Aragatha Smith). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
