He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Jessie and Hilda Day Jessie; his wife Rita Morgan Jessie; and his siblings, Earl, Ray, Curtis, Joann, Caroline and Joyce.
He is survived by: his daughter Janet Matthews (Robert); his granddaughter Jessie Matthews (Russell Hartshorn); his sister Dorothy Turley; and his siblings-in-law, James Morgan (Mary), Teresa Trent and Sherry Morgan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and his adopted family.
