It is with sadness that the passing of Barbara Burrows Heller in Winston Salem, North Carolina is shared. Barbara, born on June 22, 1945 in Greene, New York, passed away on May 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Scooter (Meg); and her husband Richard. She is survived by: her children, Nicole and John (Trish); her stepchildren, Kathy (Trennea), Therese, Christine (Robert) and Richard Jr. (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Jordan, Noelle, Andrea, Lucas, Tucker, Jacob and Casey; her great grandchildren, Simon and Delaney; and her siblings, Susie (George), Debbie (Mark), Jeannie (Tom) and Bucky (Suzanne). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Breakthrough T1D (Type 1 diabetes research) or to the campaign of a Democrat at any level, in honor of Barb's memory.
