She was predeceased by: her parents, Manny Edward Phillips and Emma Crotts Phillips; her son Chad Potts; and her brothers-in-law, Sonny Mahala and Steve Barnhart (late James Garland Potts).
She is survived by: her husband David Leonard Beane III; her sons, Jeff Potts (Dama) and Dickey Potts (Heather); her siblings, Clyde Crotts (Georgeanna), Mike Phillips, Joyce Mahala, Emma Barnhart and Brenda Loggins (Pat); and her grandchildren, Kirsten Potts, Tanner Potts and Collin Potts.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to; Bethel Baptist Church, 4111 Friedberg Church Road, Clemmons, NC 27012.
