He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Maner and Odesa Curry Maner; and his brother Phil Rodney Maner. He is survived by: his wife Gail Maner; his children, Phillip P "Phil" Maner (Tracie) of Winston-Salem and Terrie Akers of High Point; his sister Kaye Susan Maner of Kernersville; and his grandchildren, Cherie Lynn Dees, Austin Davis Maner and Alaina Grace Maner.
