She was predeceased by: her parents, John Merdis Coleman and Daphne Cleola McConnell Coleman; and her siblings, John Howard Coleman, McConnell Lee Coleman and Mattie "Novella" Coleman Wilson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Tina Coleman Owens (William L. Sr.), Edna Coleman, Arthur Coleman (Pearlie) of Winston-Salem and Young "Olanda" Coleman (Loretta) of Chicago, Illinois.; and her niece Tammy Blue. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at the Parklawn Memorial Gardens (2730 Peters Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27127).
