He is survived by: his wife Laura Long; his children, Kimberly Elizabeth Widener (Hugh McGuiness) and Spencer Long (Kelly); his grandchildren, Chase J. Long, Brooklyn Tyler Berry, Ally Finney, Ava Finney, Adalyn Finney, Emily Feghaly and Alex Feghaly; his stepchildren, Johnathan Finney (Jennifer) and Michelle Faghaly (Mitch); his brothers, Mike Long (Vickie) and Richard Long (Jennifer); and his nieces, Krista and Madison.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel (3315 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27103). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Elm Grove United Methodist Church (7240 Reynolda Rd, Pfafftown, NC 27040).
