He is survived by: his daughter Olivia Callens-Aupperle; his grandchildren, Richard Lawson III, Andy Reary, Alex Karola, Blake Reary and Tommie Ramsey; and his sisters, Marlene Benfield, Patricia Blakeley and Ashton Van Pelt. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
