He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bowers White and Cassie Victoria Jones White. He is survived by: his wife Pat (Patricia Pruitt); his children, Kimberly White Dawes (Timothy) of Columbia and Kevin William White (Suzanne) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Timothy William Dawes (Tatum) of Winston-Salem, Cassie Victoria Dawes of Winston-Salem, Grace Ann Dawes of Richmond, KY and Andrew William White of Chapel Hill; his sister Drusilla White Eckberg of New Bern; and his sister-in-law Sheila Pruitt of Kernersville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
