She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lawton Hancock and Mary Agnes Hooker Hancock; her former husband Bobby Keaton; her husband William Boyter; her daughter Melissa Keaton; and her siblings, Joy Harts, Louise Tuttle, David Hancock, Clio Hancock and Frank Hancock.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Boyter (Rick) and Bobby Keaton Jr. (Lil); her grandchildren, Lynn Shear (Randy), John Boyter (Josie), Journie Eddy (Michael) and Meagan Boyter; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Caroline, Pearl, Abigail, Annabeth, Trinity and Phoenix; her stepgrandson Charles White; her stepgreat-grandsons, Aden and Hunter; and her brother Marlon Hancock.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Union Hill Baptist Church (8494 Lasater Rd, Clemmons, NC 27012).
