It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Bame (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reid Josephus Bame and Sue Sheets Bame; his former wife Jimmie Bouchard Bame; his sons, Stephen and Scott Bame; and his brother John Henry Bame.
He is survived by: his wife Maple Springs Methodist Church; his daughter Susan Reid Bame (Crystal Robinson) of Shelby, NC; his niece Leigh Bame Burton of Winston-Salem; and his grandchildren, Catlyn, Reanna, Sarah and Nicholas (Nova Robinson).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a cause that he held very dear to him, St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
