It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Edwin Nicholson of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Lee Nicholson and Allie Elizabeth Nicholson; and his sisters, Helen Childress and Ruby Easter. He is survived by: his son Charles Nicholson, Jr. (Bonnie); his granddaughters, Allie Wilson (Cameron) and Holly Cheek (Eric); his great grandchild Lennon Layne Wilson; and his sisters, Peggy Thomas and Glenda Ellis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial gifts may be made to Midway Methodist Church, Davidson County Senior Center or the charity of the donor's choice.
