He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bast and Elizabeth Bast. He is survived by: his wife Vivian; his children, Melanie Bast-Hanline (David) and Jeremiah E. Bast (Kristin); his grandchildren, Jordan E. Bast, Stephen Hanline (Maryssa), Jacob Hanline (Kayla), Lyda Kayl (Gregory), Zoe Bast and Hailey Bast; and his sister Susan Garrison. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
