He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Neal Johnson and Patsy Payne Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Jo Clawson; his sister Dana Johnson; and his nieces, Laura (Terry) and Tara.
A memorial service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home (2849 Middlebrook Dr, Clemmons, NC 27012).
