He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Norfleet Miller; his brother Stuart N. Miller; his grandson Jeb Ward; and his son-in-law Randy Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hall Miller; his children, Corinne Ward (Bill), William Miller (Missy) and Christine Phelps; his stepson Dane Heath (Amy); his grandchildren, Lizzie Roediger (Charles), Cori Tuller (Alex), Bo Ward, MaryGrace Ward, Katie Miller, Rob Wooten (Liz), Liza DeFago (Chris), Lily Donadio, Jimmy Phelps, Cameron Heath and Zachary Heath; and his nephew Stuart N. Miller, Jr.. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
