He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sam Anthony and Frances Louise Portaro (Spainhour); his children, Anna Alexandra Portaro (Christopher Sartin) and Chase Anthony Portaro; his siblings, Sam, Jr. (Christopher Dionesotes), Daniel (Cathy), Angela Meredith (Greg) and Karen Bowman (Gary); and his pets, Mollie, Lunna and Mika. He was also cherished by eight nieces and nephews; 13 great-nieces and nephews.
