We announce the death of Charles Ray Pruitt of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 64. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henley Daleman Pruitt and Pauline Jessup Evans; and his sister Cheryl Pruitt. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Hauser Pruitt; his children, Brittany Pruitt (Joshua Jimenez-Cruz) and Tyler Pruitt (Yi-Wen Liu); his grandchildren, Ian Liu Pruitt and Elaina Pruitt-Cruz; his stepmother Marie Pruitt; and his cousin Renea Brewer.
