She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Campbell and Rosemary Campbell; and her husband Alan Southard. She is survived by: her daughters, Katy Goldsmith (Joe) of Atlanta and Allison Watts (Evan) of Winston-Salem; her siblings, Forrest Campbell Jr. (Alicia) of Greensboro and Susan Scott (Gary) of Montgomery, Ala.; and her grandchildren, Henry, Alan and Mae.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Winston-Salem Street School or Centenary United Methodist Church.
