She was predeceased by: her parents, James Duren and Theresa Duren; and her siblings, Emerson Duren and Vanessa Duren-Winfield. She is survived by: her son Jesse L. Cook, II; her grandchildren, Jaliaha Cook, Ny'emia Sides, Emma Quick, Ahlina Quick, Jesse Cook III and Maybiss Quick; her sibling's children, Sharnita, Donovan Duren, Deborah and Lakeshia Winfield; Tameka Anderson.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saints Assembly Church of God in Christ (4715 Germanton Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105). A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025.
