He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleotus Pauling and Hattie Mitchell Mack. He is survived by: his wife Sharon K. Pauling; his children, Tera Mason and Donte Mason (Rebecca); his grandsons, Noah Tye and Donte'Mason Jr.; and his siblings, Larry Pauling (Trulesta), Kevin Pauling, Ronald Pauling, Clevette Holbert and Pamela Knight. He is also survived by nieces, nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
