He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin George and Retha George; his daughter Laura Saumier; and his brother John George. He is survived by: his wife Sara Sheppard George; his son Jonathan George (Jill); his grandchildren, Zachary, Noah, Parker and Joel; his son-in-law Micah Saumier; and his siblings, Paul George (Loretta), Stephen George (Julie), Mary McCartney, Martha Pinkston (Michael), Beckie Nelson (Dan), Eunice Wallace (Dennis) and Esther Black (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, fellow clergy, and dear friends.
