It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Richard Lane in Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Lane and Betty Tucker Lane. He is survived by: his brother John Lane (Susan); his children, Kasey Scott (Brandon), Kristen Wooten (Avery) and Ryan Lane (Aimee); and his grandchildren, Harper Scott, Scarlett Sparks, Magnolia Sparks and Colton Scott (Michele Williams).
