He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vestal and Willie Lee Phillips. He is survived by: his children, Donnie Vestal Jr. (Destiny) and Dana Vestal Spencer (Josh); his wife Diana Vestal; his grandchildren, Addison, Dax, Maverick, Memphis and Daylie; his brother Eddie Vestal (Ellie); and his friend Nancy McGee.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Silas Creek Chapel - Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory (3315 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27103). A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (3250 High Point Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107).
