She was predeceased by: her parents, Bettie Everhart and Luther Everhart; and her siblings, Legrand, Bill Everhart, Bettie Jones, Maxine Page and Judy Boteler.
She is survived by: her spouse Thomas S. Hutchens; her son Tim G. Hutchens (Aprile) of Yadkinville; her grandchildren, Dr. Thomas C. Hutchens of Charlotte and Lindsay L. Hutchens of Elkin; her siblings-in-law, Bruce Boteler and Donna Roberts; her caregivers, Lindsay, Rena, Merita and Mary; and her friends, Lois and Steve. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
