He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Jackson Perrell and Isabel Hanes Perrell; his siblings, Ralph Perrell, Opal Clinard (Brondale), Mozelle Leonard (Bob), Joann Giles (Tom), Mabel Hughes (Bill) and Mary Perrell; his parents-in-law, Gene and Hazel Morris; his siblings-in-law, Larry Beck, Kay Billings and Cheri Morris; and his pet Peppy.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Perrell; his daughters, Melissa Parker (Byron) of Winston-Salem, NC and Betsy Ellingsworth (Rick) of McConnelsville, Ohio; his siblings, Joel Perrell (Pat) of Baltimore, MD, Sue Perrell Beck and Woody Perrell (Marte) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Jackson Phipps (Jamie), Angel Phipps, Noah Shaak, Carl Phipps, Chloe Shirkey (Nathan), David Phipps, Mary Taylor Shaak, Jacob Parker, Emilee Tzatzo (Redi), Elizabeth Ellingsworth and Anne Marie Ellingsworth; his brothers-in-law, Gene Morris and Johnny Billings; his great grandchildren, Leighton Corley, Winston Phipps, Avery Phipps and John Henry Phipps; his niece Janet Clinard Fluharty; his friend Roy Holman; and his pet Scooby Doo.
