She was predeceased by: her parents, Odell Ballard and Myrtle Whicker Ballard; and her brother Ken Ballard. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Brown; her children, Chip Brinegar (Julie Elise), Robin Jarvis (Roger), Ronnie Brown and Lynn Transou; and her sister Pat Smothers. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
