She is survived by: her mother Lillie Bunn Simpson; her son Mike Phillips (Kathy) of Advance, NC; her grandchildren, Brock Phillips of Winston-Salem, NC, Shana Wright (Andrew) of Mt. Airy, NC and Lindsey Deitz (Dustin) of Hendersonville, NC; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Camille Deitz, Brent Wright, Lily and Ethan Phillips; her adoptive daughters, Ellen Mickey Hodges, Diane Jones Magaraci and Ann Burgess Markland; and her caregivers, Barbara Smith and Tammy Cruz.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
