She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dewey Wood and Vertie Stone Wood; her husband Thomas "Tommy" Walker, Jr.; her son Thomas Sandy Walker; her sister Helen Wood Roope (Fred Roope); her siblings-in-law, R. J. Absher and Carolyn Wood; and her son Andy.
She is survived by: her son Terry Lee Walker (Billie Jo) of North Wilkesboro; her granddaughters, Sammi Jo Carson (July) of Statesville, Kayla Elizabeth Harris (Thomas) of Statesville and Ashley Michele Rudd (Seneca) of Yadkinville; her great grandchild Julia Rudd; her siblings, Kenneth Wood of North Wilkesboro, Kathy McMillan (Ronnie) of North Wilkesboro and Peggy Absher of Hayes; her pet Rusty; David Johnson (Christina) of North Wilkesboro. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews; and numerous treasured friends.
