She was predeceased by: her husband David Hester; and her parents, Viola Anderson and Howard Anderson. She is survived by: her son Donald Johnson (Robin); her grandson Jackson Johnson; and her siblings, Pamela Cockerham and James Anderson (Margaret). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (357 Old Hollow Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105).
