He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Ann Baity Cox; his wife Kristina Cox; his daughter Brittany Lynn East; his son-in-law Matthew Thomas East; his son Mark Damon Cox; his siblings, Ricky Wilson Cox, Bobby Joe Cox, Terry Wayne Cox and Kathy Ann Cox; his grandchildren, Calissa Lynn Cox and Tyler Lee Cox; his great grandchildren, Emerald Sky Carter and Kaison Lee Carter; and his mother-in-law Yuzhi Zhang.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Silas Creek Chapel - Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes & Crematory (3315 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27103). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel (3315 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27103). A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the Holly Hill Memorial Park (401 W Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360).
