With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Miller Britton of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though George may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Johnstone and Cristina Welles Britton; and his sister Victoria Britton. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Brody Britton; his sister Linda Cristina Britton (Charlotte); his nephew Max Duarte (Amy); and his nieces, Linda Glickman (Rob), Susana Duarte of Suarez and Victoria Hollidge (Doug).
