With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geraldine Newkirk Moore (Winston Salem, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 2, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ahminious Newkirk and Janie Newkirk; and her siblings, Leonard, Clarence, Thomas, Marvin Newkirk, Sadie Watkins, Pauline Singleton and Etta Mae McIntyre.
She is survived by: her children, Revenda Ann Mosley, Shaye Pridgen, Henry Pridgen (Linda), Terry Moore and Rev. Daryl Moore; her grandchildren, Kimberly Dillon (Korey), Jernard Durham, Jeffrey Woods, Dr. Jenard Moore (Destiny) of Greensboro, NC, Henry Pridgen Jr. and Brian Mosley (MiEsha) of Arlington, VA; and her brother Lewis Watkins (Bernice). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
