It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazel Mary Ann Sexton of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Major Dock and Donna Haynes Roberts; her siblings, Elbert, Creed, Marvin, Hansel of Larry, JD, Vertis Melvin and Rema Earls; her former husband William Desmond Clark; her children, William Desmond Clark, Jr. (Deborah) and Particia Clark; her former husband Philip Morgan Duer; her daughter Linda Duer Rephann (Paul); her husband Wayne Sexton; and her children, Melissa Sexton Lester (Bryan), Gail Sexton Allen (John), Carol Sexton Smith (Eddie) and Roger. She was also cherished by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jc Green Funeral Home (10301 NC-109, Winston-Salem, NC 27107). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jc Green Funeral Home Chapel (10301 NC-109, Winston-Salem, NC 27107).
