He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart Lash and Katherine Hauser Lash; and his brother James Lash. He is survived by: his wife Ericsteen Jefferson Lash; his children, Melodie Vereen (Kenneth) of Lexington, KY and Cedric Lash (LaWanda) of Winston-Salem, NC; his grandchildren, Ken Vereen, Jr. (Erica), Kevin Vereen, Keith Vereen, Alexandrea Lash and Kendrick Lash; his great grandchild Kenleigh Vereen; and his cousins, Donald Lash, Carla Hauser, Sherron Richardson, James Hauser, Jr. and Michael Hauser. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. James AME Church General Fund.
