With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iris Wood Rumley (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Rumley; her son-in-law Johnny D. King; and her sisters, Betty Ann Barbee, Flo Marion and Geraldine Conner.
She is survived by: her children, Karen King (Ron Sharp) of Sevierville Tennessee, Dennis Rumley (Ann) of Rural Hall, N. C. and Cindy Myers (Danny) of Pinnacle, N. C.; her grandchildren, Angie Hutton (Patrick), John-David King (Pepper), Thomas-Paul King (Danielle), Amanda Davis (Jody), Brandon Myers (Shea) and Brent Myers (Kelly); and her caregivers, Lisa Pyrtle, Katie Katz and Gina Leonard. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
