She was predeceased by: her mother Viola Grier Jordan; her husbands, Willie James Rush and Viotis A. Springs; her son Ricardo Rush, Sr.; her great grandchild Malachi Coleman; her father Matthew H. Jordan, Sr.; her siblings, Marjorie Jordan Ellis, Matthew H. Jordan, Jr. and Dorothy Mae Steele; her siblings-in-law, Stella Jordan, Jean Lash Jordan, Denard Steele and Garland Ellis; and her niece Delma Steele.
She is survived by: her children, Tamara A. Griffin (Justin) and Maurice Rush, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Darlene Rush; her stepsons, Jerry Springs, Kenneth Springs and Ronald Rush (Beverly); her grandchildren, Tamia Graves (Paul), Nia Forbes (Cody), Ricardo Rush, Jr., Maurice Rush, Jr., Keon Emanuel and Tyree Emanuel; her great grandchildren, Zain, Kai, Ariah, Carter and Jared; her sister-in-law Mary Williams; her nieces and nephews, Sandra Jordan, Neenah Jordan Kelliebrew (Michael), Landrell Jordan (Evelyn), Darla Steele-Lyons (late Pierre) and Demarco Steele; and her great-nephew Terrez Steele (Courtney). She is also survived by extended family members, friends.
