He is survived by: his son Michael Cardwell (Jenny); his grandchildren, Megan Greene (Jackson) and Morgan Smith (Jonathan); his great grandchildren, Ally, Bristol, Vera and Caden; his pet Honey; and his niece Kim Rhue (Billy).
