He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gilmore and Mary Ann Edrington; his grandmother Gussie; and his brother Eugene Edrington. He is survived by: his wife Denita; his daughter Meika Allen (Byron); his stepsons, Kedrick McIlwaine (Wanisha) and Corey McIlwaine; his brother Alphonso Gilmore (Elizabeth); his niece Iris Tonette Gilmore; and his sister-in-law Jackie Young. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
