He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Benjamin and Siddie Lancaster Culbertson; his wife Germaine Calhoun Culbertson; and his brother Arthur Benjamin Culbertson, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Blair; his son-in-law James Robbins of Atlanta; his grandsons, William Robbins and George Robbins of Atlanta; and his significant other Suzanne Bullotta.
