He was predeceased by: his parents, John Raymond and Etha Gentry Guy; and his sister Rebecca Guy Gilyard. He is survived by: his siblings, John D. Guy, Thomas D. Guy (Delieta) and Joan Guy Edwards (Randy); and his nephews, Marty Dozier, John Edwards, Ben Edwards, Patrick Guy (Julie Guy Whitlow), Leslie Dozier Reen and Peter Gilyard (Angela Joan Austin).
