She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Higgins and Eloise Higgins; her aunts, Lurline Willis, Leah Willis and Nell Willis; her brother William "Bill" Higgins; her nephew Michael "Mike" Higgins; and also William D. Van Hoven.
She is survived by: her daughter Laura Erdman (Don); her grandchildren, Daniel (Adrien) and Claire (Erio); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Will and Jessica; her nephew Mark Higgins (Donna); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Madison and Hannah.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Home Moravian Church (529 S Church St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101).
