With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jesse Taylor of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter James and Simmie Taylor; his siblings, William "Cornell" Taylor, Eartha Mae "Punkin" Norman and Juanita Love; and his great grandchild Paislee Kelly.
He is survived by: his children, Undrea Dockery (Sereatha), Natasha Taylor, Montae Shelf, Rochelle Taylor, Tramain Taylor, Jerome Taylor and Christon Taylor; and his sisters, Amanda Archie (Floyd), Etta Taylor, Retta Edmond (Jerry), Deb Bryant (Brady), Crystal Love and Sharon Taylor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Service (3001 Old Greensboro Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). Visitation was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
